Flat Clad is our most versatile profile. Imagine boards snugged up tight against each other, like you would see for flooring. Flat clad can also be used on the walls, the ceiling, the cabinets, the doors, and on the exterior of the house. It can be run horizontally or vertically, or even diagonally. Flat Clad is your go-to for all surfaces.

Which is why Douglas-fir is the perfect bridge between any existing material, color, or texture you might have in your home. Nobody minds adding in some Douglas-fir. And because our Douglas-fir is old-growth, the grain is tight, the wood is strong, and there is longevity embedded within. Grounded yet playful, Douglas-fir has seen it all and holds no grudges.

Flat Clad is available in 7", 5" and 3” (shown here) widths in either Douglas-fir or Redwood, clean face (shown here) or original patina. Tongue & groove joinery. Can come accented by brush and sealant.
