The details are this: between each board we engineer a precise line of negative space, otherwise known as a gap. The look is linear but subtle, giving the impression of order, symmetry, intention, an enjoyment of shapes, a physicality, and a healthy constitution. Perfect for walls, I mean perfect, awesome on the ceiling, excellent on the exterior of the house. Gap Clad will smart it up!

Redwood is rich in color, naturally resilient, mysterious, powerful, and like the tree itself, communicates a way of living that is enriched by community, welcoming to all, and deeply rooted in the earth. The grain is soft, the hand is buttery, and the color is in the terra cotta family.

Gap Clad is available in 7” (shown here), 5” and 3” widths in either Redwood or Douglas-fir, clean face or original patina (shown here). Tongue & groove joinery. Can come accented by brush and sealant.
