Bevel Clad is like a landscape. A series of table top mesas with rivers running between them. The top of the board is the flat top, the v notch between the boards, at the seam, is the water, cutting a channel in the substance. This creates the impression of a shadowed definition between each board, like a side dish or a lingering thought. A whisper. An impression. Which is why Bevel Clad can add a delicateness when used on the walls or ceiling. Present, contemplative, measured, and just straight up pretty, Bevel Clad has been used throughout history to say I care for this. Which is why Bevel Clad can be found in bedrooms, children’s rooms, wainscoting, the ceiling of the porch, anywhere you’d want to listen in.
